That said, those Spring Lanterns are not needed to be successful in the event and should be seen as a little bonus for active players. That means that completing quests or participating in the event itself won't cause them to appear and it is possible to have a lot or even no Cherry Trees in your city at any given point. Keep in mind that, unlike in previous years, Cherry Trees will have a chance to appear as one of the normal Incidents in your city. Click on these trees to gather more Lanterns: and you will find Cherry Trees spawn in your city's surroundings from time to time. 41 rush quests, and then a further 21 Daily quests! You will also receive some lanterns for logging in every day. There are 62 quests in total to aid your progress. After the main questline is solved, additional daily quests will be available.
